Julianstown Church
RAYN Safety & Security recently completed the full removal and upgrade of the fire detection systems at the St. Mary’s Church in Julianstown. The project involved the design and installation of two independent single-loop systems, networked to provide full control and monitoring capabilities across both buildings.
All works were carried out in strict compliance with I.S. 3218:2024, ensuring the highest standard of fire detection and alarm protection.
Scope of Works Included:
- Installation of two Advanced MX Pro 5 single-loop panels, with integrated network cards for system interconnection.
- Integration of EMS wireless RCCs to support wireless detection across both buildings.
Deployment of:
- EMS Wireless Smoke Detectors with Standard Bases
- EMS Wireless Manual Call Points
- Heat Detectors with Sounder Beacon Bases
- Internal Loop Sounders for robust sounder coverage
- Two external conventional sounder beacons for outdoor alert notification.
- System monitoring enabled via CSL DualCom for remote supervision and alerts.
- Full decommissioning of the existing system and replacement with a modern, reliable solution.
- Final system commissioning, full certification, and structured end-user training.
- Comprehensive Operations Manual provided to client on handover.
This installation not only enhances safety but also provides futureproof connectivity and monitoring, ensuring full compliance and peace of mind.
